More Discussible Book Choices
"For 50 years the American Club of Seville (yes, in Spain) has been meeting and discussing books. Usually we have from 16 - 22 members in attendance each month where several countries are represented. We read books in English and discuss in English, even though that is not the native language of some of our group. In October, we are looking forward to discussing Mockingbird's Daughter by Louis Alberto Urrea and are looking forward to this highly recommended book!"
--Gregory, American Club of Seville, Seville, Spain
"This month our group will be discussing The Plot Against America by Philip Roth. We've been together 7 years this month and somehow have never discussed a Philip Roth book. As soon as we realized this, we chose The Plot. We try and sample as many different authors as we can, and we were surprised that he has gotten by us for so long."

In the near futiure, we will be reading the Great Gatsby, and Joy Luck Club. The one I can't wait for is The Thirteenth Tale, and we are going to have a tea while we discuss the book -- tea, scones, marmalade, anything English. I am highly anticipating this one. ‘Hope this book is good as the hype its getting ..."
